Just an FYI and maybe worth checking out if you don't know about it already:
I was shopping around today (Jeg's, Summit, PAW, etc.) to get the best deal on a new Comp Cams roller cam, lifters and pushrods. I found "CarPartsOnSale.com." It didn't have the specific P/Ns I needed on its site, but I called and talked to the Guy In Charge. He had my stuff in stock and he saved me almost $50 off the next-cheapest price:
I tried them once. They took 5 weeks attempting to get a part. I finally cancelled the order and got it from Summit. I did not think they communicated the issues very well so I don't think I will be back. I get great service from the Forum Supporting Vendors and good old Summit Racing.
Eeek! I guess it may have been a good idea to check in first. But the die is cast, as they say. Maybe I'll have better luck--I ordered a cam/lifter kit and some pushrods. Perhaps your experience involved a more esoteric piece of hardware?
It was just a set of Hooker long tube headers. Hope it works out for you. I am sure they are able to deliver to some people otherwise they would not still be in business. I think they started up about 12-14 months ago.
