Anyone make a tool for measuring the total torque/hp 'under the curve' to get a more comprehensive, aggregate view of an engines performance?? Simply 'peak hp and 'peak tq' can be a bit misleading.

All you need to do is some logistic regression to forumlate an equation for your graph, and then use the area calculation tool to add up the sum of the area below the curve.

I thought it would be a natural add-on for a dyno. If it can plot numerous tq and hp readings, it ought to be able to crunch these numbers rather easily. FEW folks at the dyno can do this on their hand held. :)
Maybe its just not that uselful for reasons a weekend mechanic like me doesn't see!
