Need help on New Cam Selection
Hey Guys I'm planning on doing a cam swap and wanted to get some of the knowledgeble forum members to give me some insight if this cam is a good match to improve my current set up.
My Set current set up:
383 Stroker all 4340 forged rotating assembly
58mm TB
TPIS Minin Ram intake
24lb Fuel injectors
Comp Cam 274* 220 int/ 224exh 475 lift
Dart Pro 1 Alum heads 180cc
1.5 int/ 1.6 exh RR
560" lift valve spring
Long tube headers
3000 stall convertor
3.73 rear gears
The cam I'm considerating considerating is
Part Number: 08-306-8 Grind Number: 290HR-12
RPM-Range: 2000- 6000
Valve Timing: 0.50 Duration: 290int /307exh
Lobe-Center Angle: 112 Duration @ .050" Lift: 230/ 244
Intake Centerline: 108 Valve Lift: 0.51int /0.54exh
