Well ,I recently bought a seasoned 400.Set it to Rogers speed shop to be set up as a 406.Brought myself a forged bottom end ,got the block machined and had them install a Howard's cam with these specs 234/242 @ .050 294/302 with .533"/548" lift and 112 Lsa.Brought some 210 cc aluminum heads with 2.02/1.60 valves(64 cc) which gives me a cr. of 10:8.1.Now I'm not an engine builder but I been reading about how to build a stout 406 for about two years.I tried to pattern mine block similar to something close to the Grumpy Jenkins build,on a budget(if you know what I mean)Ebay.I plan on using a Wieland stealth ram with 32lb injectors.I will bolt this up to a 700r4 tranny with a 2800 stall and a 390 diff gear.Would have liked to use my TPI intake but everyone keeps telling me its a restriction.Well anywho if I dont kill myself in the car.
