Default Trick Flow cams

I was thinking about buying a trick flow cam/head combo, has anyone used one of their cams yet? I was thinking maybe they are some other manufacturer's part with their name on it.

It's almost guaranteed that Trick Flow is having someone else manufacture their cams. There are really only a handful of companies that actually manufacture their own cam cores(Crane, Erson), everyone else buys from them. Trick Flow just probably has someone manufacturing and grinding the cams to their specs to go with their cylinder heads.

You might save yourself some money by getting the cam from a cam company rather than Trick Flow. A couple of years ago, everyone was paying $400+ for the LPE 219 cam for the SuperRam, until they figured out they could get it for half the price from Comp.

FYI, I just ordered a set of trick flow heads (backordered), they (Summit) said they are going up $50 next month. Anyway, I also ordered a trick flow cam and lifters, cheap at around $120. The guy at trick flow tech support said Crane is grinding them for them, so I went for it.
