Another Cam Question......
I'm wanting to change the cam in my stock '79 - L82
Competition Cams is recommending the Xtreme energy line part 12-238-2
Duration 262-270, lift 462-469, separation 110
Crane Cams is recommending the Energizer cam 100042
Duration 210, lift 440, separation 110 -- or
the PowerMax 113932
Duration 266-272, lift 440-454, separation 114
However what about Summitracing's k1103
Duration 272-282, lift 442-465, separation 112
I'm looking to keep the engine fairly stock. I'll keep the intake and carb, eventually I'll put headers and duals on. It's an automatic (stock 350) with 3.55 rearend gears. Eventually I'll put a 200r4 in (maybe an 1800-2200 stall)and plan on leaving the rear end alone. When running, it's a daily driver.
What do you guys recommend. Thanks
