my 64 did not have the original motor in it, it had a 350. In order to save some time and money I bought an engine from a local builder, another 350.
It came with an Edelbrock Preformer intake manifold that didn't have the oil fill tube.
To make a long story short, the valve covers I have are equipped with an oil fill / vent, and a PVC valve.
I would sure like to have aluminum Corvette covers, but I don't know if they would work or how to vent the engine .
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Jim

You will have to use a pcv valve cover, your 350 does not have the draft tube opening in the back by the distributor. THese cover are nice, and have a descrete opening for pcv function.
I have a set of original Corvette valve covers that I used to run on a 350. They have a breather on each cover. The breather is about 3" long ang was placed right over the center of the word "Corvette"
They are perfect for your application and the closet thing to original out there. If you are interested,m I have to make sure they are in good shape, but I think $100 is pretty fair.
If you want to send me a regular e-mail address, I will send you some pictures.

Jim,
I tried sending the pictures over to the address twice. for some reason it comes back to me as non deliverable.
Any other address we can try, or is there a reason they might not be going through. I have never had this kind of trouble before, so it moght be on your end.
Thanks,
monte
