Second Newbie question
some of the engines I have lookes at had EFI. how would changing the EFI to a carb setup effect power of and engine?

If both are properly tuned and are of the right size, they should be about the same HP...... You'll get better driveability, emissions and fuel economy from a EFI unit.
Its just my own opinion but if a car has EFI, I'd spend the money and get the EFI working better rather than switching to a carb.

well, in my case i have the crossfire injection system, which is pretty miserable. I think my only real option is to go pure carb
