suggestions for project engine
alright, my friend recently bought a '55 belair that used to be a drag racer. but they had removed the blown 454 and tranny. they left a nice exhaust setup except for the headers which are rusted and dented. we found a fairly nice 350 from a '69 impala. it has 10:1 compression and is factory rated at 300hp. we have an edelbrock performer intake manifold and a holly street avenger, i think its a 770. we also have a fairly nice msd distributor, and a cam that i cant find any information about but looks brand new. We obviously need new headers, i was wondering what would be good, we dont have too much money, and any other suggestions on what we should do to make it more powerful. any suggestions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
