OK I put on Edelbrock Perfomer RPM Heads Cam and the Pro-Flo RPM Airgap FI. Start the car up and it idles like crap, there is like one little magic spot when you turn the distrubtor that allows the car to start and run. I am getting very low vaccum at idle (2-3hg). I have already took of the intake thinking it was an intake leak. What could it possibly be?

There are numerous things that could be causing your problem, too many for us to offer more than guesses that may have nothing to do with your problem. Obviously, something isn't right. Seeing an improvement by changing timing could indicate that the distributor is installed wrong or only that the change in timing is helping to compensate for another problem. Considering the work that was done on the engine, my guesses include: distributor installed wrong. You are able to take a vacuum reading so I'd assume that you can also take a timing reading (much more critical). What is your initial timing? Next guess is valve adjustment. Too loose will let you know by the noise, too tight won't make noise but the engine will run just like you described. Third guess is that something was damaged upon start up. With more info we can probably give better "guesses".

Ok WHen I time the car at TDC it is running good but you can tell it needs more spark. As soon as I turn the distrubtor 1 degree past TDC I lose all spark and can't get any spark from there on. What would cause me to lose spark like that?
I GOT IT, the power wire to the distrubtor wsa not hooked up very well and when you would turn it would lose all power. That was it, I feel like a real idiot now.
