Head question.
just wondering after reading a nitrous artical in CHP. they mentioned that air in the combustion chamber is actually what is going to make more hp and not more fuel. and that the right ratio will reveal the most hp. I was just wondering if you purchase some really good heads and you dont have enough cam and fuel to take advantage of it you have wasted you money, or would you get the most of your future mods. can having to good of a set of heads hurt your hp in any way?

Too large of an intake port, and valve, will cause a slow lazy intake charge that can hurt power, especially in the low rpm ranges. Among other things the intake mixture won't flow fast enough to maintain tubulance and keep the fuel in suspension. If your plans for a "killer" engine are firm and not too extended, it would be worth while to live with the less than "ideal" heads, rather than have to afford two sets. Just realize that more isn't necessarlly better, unless everything that it's working with is well coordinated. Good luck and have fun.
