Default What about these cam specs....

Intake duration at 0.050" Exhaust duration at 0.050" Intake lift, cam/valve, inches Exhaust lift, cam/valve, inches Lobe separation angle
235 235 0.320/.480 0.320/.480 114

I know its pretty mild but considering the stock 90 L-98 specs it should be a mild improvement shouldnt it? Those specs are with 1.5
I might be able to pick up a cam like this for little or nothing from a local engine builder. I'd plan on using it with stock heads, stock runners, ported plenum and ported accell base. (possibly a superam later on)

Nice choice, but your idle will be 'choppy'.

....you'll need to upgrade the heads, intake in order to maximize on that cam. ...and exhaust too.

Hyd. Roller Cam; Lift: .474" I, .510" E; Duration @ .050: 208° I, 221° E

These are the specs for the ZZ4 camshaft with 1.6 RR
Would this be a better choice I wonder.

IMHO, the ZZ4 cam would be better for your purposes.

235/235 duration @.050 is pretty big especially if you are on stock or near stock heads.

Since your not bound by emmissions it would be feasable. Most smog legal cars top out with 219 dur. cams. The whole problem with a hot cam is it's peak power might be produced at a higher rpm point than the intake air flow will allow.

Also big duration H-Roller cams are an Oxy-Moron. Your limited to @6500 rpm because of the valve train weight.

Thanks for the info. I was a bit worried about the duration being so big and with any tpi system valve timing is allways a huge player. I may go with a zz4 cam since I can get one locally for $100.
