Default Would this work?

I have a Gen 1 350 small block that is bored .60 over. I am getting new 1.5 ratio rocker arms and i am wanting to upgrade my cam that is in it. The one i am looking at has Duration at 050 inch Lift: 246 int./246 exh, Advertised Duration: 302 int./302 exh., Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.500 int./0.500 exh.
Lobe Separation (degrees): 106. My question is would this cam work with stock valve springs. If not what would anybody recommend getting for the upgraded springs? And what other work would need to be done? I believe the guy at the machine shop said that the heads where 882's or something very similiar to those numbers.

Nope dont try
Get springs the mfr recommends and have them set up properly so the height seat/open pressure is correct. You may need to bring the guide bosses down also. Screw in studs a must....

Youll need a good 11:1 compression ported heads headers low gears etc to make it run good. May want to consult your machinist and put together a game plan for your build that works. IMO 882s just arent worth sinking th emoney into. Unless your not concerned about how it runs just sound. Theres better cams for that, too.
