Default HIT PAY DIRT!

After much fussing about my timing.. retarding it more and more.. it dawned upon me that the more I retard it, the worse it was running.
So I advanced it.. So far I am running an 10 degree inital advance and a 38 degree total advance and it runs great now. I hit8 pounds of boost and absolutly no retard under boost. So I feel that once I add some boost controllers. I think I should be able to push some monster boost, cause I am running basically N/A engine timing.

Anyways.. I just wanted to share cause I finally got the results I was looking for.. OHH god it's fun. Still slightly overheating though.. Gonna have to go to a griffin radiator. But will it really be more efficent than a copper 4 core? I am also thinking of relocating my intercoolers under the front extension bar "under the headlights" so then I have more open flow infront of the radiator. Just thinking of ideas though.

Next week I will be hitting Pacific Raceways to do some test and tune. Then I will have some numbers. Till then I am not going to make any guesses.

timing can have an effect on engine operating temp. maybe thats one reason it was running a bit warm?
