Well, I should have kept my mouth shut until it was a done deal. I did recieve my torque converter on friday, but the instructions that came with it indicate that I have to swap out a spring and drill a small hole in the tranny pump. That was unexpected, as was the fact that my wife threw a suprise birthday party for me, so I didn't get to work on it Saturday as I had planned. Still, I should get it done soon. Sorry for crying wolf.

I appreciate it, but I guess I wouldn't be enirely honest if I didn't confess to the fact that I did spend several hours planting flowers in the yard for my wife. Oh man, it's starting already....

Surprise birthday parties are usually for those birthdays ending in a "0". Which one was it?

Hey Monty.. I am also turning 30 this year (Sept) but since my wife's Expected Due Date with our first is the day Before my 30th. I am out of luck on the surprise party.. :(

I bought my vette when my wife was 4 months pregnant for our 1st child :D . I couldn't believe she wasn't going thru the roof about it. Her father wasn't too happy :rolleyes: . The thing with having the car is that she knows where I am (out in the garage ;) ).
