I've worked with both C2 and C3 sidepipes as well as the Thrush sidepipes on Vettes over the years. Because the inlet to all of the sidepipes is just under the front leading edge of the rocker panel, I have never found a set of off-the-shelf headers that will just bolt up and go.
The problem is that the collector for off-the-shelf headers extends back past the entry area for the sidepipes requiring some sort of hand-made 180 degree bend tubing to hook up. Adding a reducer to the collector only exacerbates the problem.
If you're going to keep the sidepipes and still want headers, I would recommend looking at what are called "block huggers". This type of header usually has the collector in about the same location as the original cast iron exhaust manifolds so it's easy to fabricate the rest of the exhaust system to the sidepipes. Just make sure that the "block huggers" are made for manual transmission cars so they'll clear your Z-bar.
Hedman makes side exit headers that work with side pipes. PN 68286 is for sbc and is ceramic coated. You will need to have the side pipes cut short to hook up to them.
