I just a had a Dart 434 built and I am able to run a 300 shot on it. I was told if I went went the even better pistons it would take a 500 shot. At the time I did not think I would use nitrous. Now I wnat to try it. Anyways, I am asking about injectors here because I bought 42lb injectors and I feel like they may be a little small.
1. Do the injectors have much to do with the nitrous shot size?
2. The motor is about 700hp + a 300 shot.
3. I heard some guys are running 32lbers on 600+ hp does this seem right to you?
4. I am looking at the ZEX perimeter stealth blackout kit. up to 300 shot.

I believe the Zex kit you are talking about is a wet kit, in which case, you will be adding enrichment fuel with a solenoid, and you will not need to upgrade injectors for the nitrous. The injectors just need to be able to handle the fuel for the engine n/a. 32# does sound awfully small for a 600hp engine, but might be possible if the duty cycle isn't too high. I used 42# on an ls6 that made just a little over 500hp. I much prefer to run a larger injector and dial it down, than to push a smaller injector near it's max. I would start much lower than a 300 shot and work your way up. 300 is a big hit. I would like to say just from my own experience, I much prefer Nitrous Express over Zex, and Nitrous Outlet is great as well, and you can buy both from Nitrous Outlet. I'm sure Zex will take care of you if that's what you want to run. Just giving my opinion. I would at least call Nitrous Outlet and talk to them about what you want to do. They are extremely helpful guys over there and know their stuff.
