Recommended Engine Machine Shop in Central FL
Hi all,
I work at a small company near Cocoa Beach, FL. We are testing a couple prototype engines and occasionally have the need for some machine work that we can't do in house. In the past, we have shipped parts to a shop in MI to have this done, but I would like to find some place more local. We just need a shop that can do some routine engine machining practices.....grinding and polishing cranks, honing cylinders, decking blocks etc. Cost isn't an issue, we just want high quality, high precision work done. We haven't found any shop around us that can give us the quality we're looking for, as they all seem to just be quickly and cheaply refurbishing engines for street cars and trying to make a quick buck.
So if you have any recommendations for a high quality shop for engine work, please let me know. Thanks!
