Default Knockoff / out of spec LS7 lifters?

Hey all,

I purchased a brand new set of LS7 lifters, 16 pack ac delco, off of Amazon. They came in a nice GM Performance Parts box, part numbers all matched up, inside of box was 2 8 packs. These were then comprised of individually wrapped lifters all in ac delco boxes. Good.

However, the lifters all have a laser etching in the side of them and a few are of questionable quality control on the body condition (bangs, dents, marks) I have attached pictures to help explain.

Do all replacement LS7 lifters have these laser etches? Everyone i have asked up here say they have never seen it...are these fakes / out of spec lifters being resold as new? The ones that came out of any engine I have torn down have never had this.

Thanks!
