I have a set of square port heads and matching stock manifold, and was wondering how much bottom end I lose by running them on the street compared to the 215 head, my other option.
I will be running this combination in a 454 with a comp 280H Magnum cam with roller rockers.

If you use enough torque converter and gear, you won't have to worry about it. I'd be thinkin' a 10 inch, 3000 stall unit runnin' through a set of 3.73 or shorter gears. The cam will want between 9.0:1 and 10.5:1 static compression ratio. Personally, I would not exceed 9.5:1 with iron heads and would tighten up the squish/quench to 0.035" to 0.040" to prevent detonation on pump gas.
