Default Engine issue - where'd this come from?
Neighbor is running a 5.3L LS engine in his race car. Pulled his oil drain plug and found these attached to the magnetic plug. Car was running fine through the end of the last track day.

So where are these from?

My first thought was head bolt washers but I’m not convinced the hole diameter is big enough
Not sure what else has washers
