This is the card for the cam I have in my 1976 L-48. It was in the car when I bought it and as far as I can tell everything else is stock (intake, carb, heads, exhaust, smog stuff, ect...) I’m planning on going with a true duel exhaust without cats and removing all of the smog stuff but I don't want to go too crazy with the performance so that it's still a cruiser. What I would like to know is what kind of horsepower can I get out of this cam and what else can I do (carb, intake, possibly heads, torque converter, ect...)any sugestions on what carb, intake, ect... i should get would be greatly appreciated. but keep in mind i would like to keep the original air cleaner and exhaust manifolds if possible!!!!!
sorry the pic sux, but so does my camera.
if you could take the time and go to www.cranecams.com and enter part number 113941 you'll get a much clearer pic of what i got for a cam
Dur. 272°/284° , Dur. @ .050” 216°/228°. Lift: .454”/.480”
For anybody that cant see that.
Id get some new AL heads, i dont know enough about carbed setups to recommend further but i guess a 800cfm carb and edlebrock manifold would be a good idea.
