Exhaust Bypass/ Smog Test
Im considering one maybe both exhaust pipe systems be converted with a simple bypass at the muffler. Does anyone know if this will create a smog test problem or check engine light for the rest of the system? California 1998 C5.

In CA you're pretty much ok as long as you don't do anything at the cat or before.

x2 catback wont affect your smog test but know theres a new noise law that has one hell of a stiff fine.
