If it's any consolation, I'm looking at the G2s for my 383.

Tested on a SuperFlow flow bench @ 28”H20
Intake Ported / Exhaust Ported
0.050 - 32 cfm / 0.050 - 23 cfm
0.100 - 65 cfm / 0.100 - 49 cfm
0.200 - 134 cfm / 0.200 - 112 cfm
0.300 - 198 cfm / 0.300 - 140 cfm
0.400 - 242 cfm / 0.400 - 180 cfm
0.500 - 256 cfm / 0.500 - 202 cfm
0.600 - 267 cfm / 0.600 - 216 cfm
Another good choice would be the Canfield heads. The flow numbers are very good.

I'll be interested in hearing about whether your experience with these heads is the same as what I have gotten. I think you'll be very pleased.

These heads come with the best valve job I have seen in a aftermarket sub 1k a pair small block head. I really like them FWIW.
They have a pretty good lip where the intake seat is machined and set in,it creates some turbulance " the bad kind " but for the most part they run fine right out of the box but of course some additional port work will see a gain. They have a a really good D-Port exhaust
Neat heads that will get a job done for most street strip needs and the price is right as well imo
When I got mine, I pulled one of the valves to see if there was anything to be gained from a pocket port. Didn't look like it to me. Any thoughts?
And the valve job, as you described looked excellent. Are you thinking the intake valve could be "unshrouded" further? Anthing else you'd mod on these heads. I realize that after a while, more flow may or may not mean anything or the size motor you have. At a stock block 350, I thought the 195cc runners were plenty. I was pleasantly surprised that the "largish" runner still promoted excellent low end mixture velocity. My motor pulls from 1400rpm on up, no problemo. :chevy
