Ok guys this is a weird issue that's becoming very frustrating mostly because I've tried Ls specific forums and forums for my car with no replies. The car I'm talking about is not a Corvette, sorry. I do have a c3 and it works great but anyway I have a 2013 Caprice the one with the 6.0 ls and it started to tick I figured it was the dang afm lifters so I took the valve covers off and nothing looked bad or loose. Then I turned the engine over by hand and everything looked good but the cylinder 7 sparkplug was black so I figured that was where my issue was. Pulled the intake rocker arm off number 7 and there was one very bent push rod there to greet me.
Put another one in made the same tick noise. Pulled the new one out and it was bent now too.
so what is happening here guys? I've had really good luck with this forum and everyone has been very helpful. So I'm hoping you guys can help me with this too cause it's very similar to a Corvette engine.
