Labor cost for cam and headers

Labor cost for cam and headers
What did you guys pay in labor for a cam/headers install? Or just separate cam only/headers only? Got a quote for $5500 for both and that seems outrageously high. For labor I was thinking more like $700 for headers and maybe 1000-1500 for the cam.

Mine is also a 2008 base.Was done in Ky so a little far for you to drive unless you are bored.The installer also works for Brian Tooley and he is the one who recommended nim.PM me if you need any more info.

thanks buddy. I’m still waiting for my headers to arrive and then I’m taking them to jet hot to get their heat reducing coating. Then I’ll be looking for all the parts I need for a new cam.
