Default Oil pump questions

Building up a 350 for those of you who don't know =) Have a couple of questions about the oil pump... I'm goin with the malling high volume. I understand that it would be a good idea to go with a deeper pan. So I'm thinkin about the moroso 7qt. Will this fit into a camaro? Also which pickup would i need to get and where? Last question... What about the shaft? Will I need a new one? I think there is still one in the block i bought thats stripped to only the bare block. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks...

You will need a new oil pump drive because the HV pump take more force to turn it

You will need the Moroso pickup tube to match the oil pan. I really would call them first for part numbers.

If you are not building a hi-rpm motor with loose clearances a stock oil pump, pan and pick-up will do fine,,still need the one piece drive imo and the oil pump mount stud instead of a bolt.

I've run the race motors over well over 8k with 30lbs of pressure. Now they don't idle long or with much pressure as in 5lbs!

This is gonna be a high rev motor and have the whole thing pretty much tight. Thanks for the info. I've already picked out a stud for the pump. Whats the one piece imo? The shaft I was looking at then to get was the ARP one. Is this a good one or is there something that works better?
