K&N air filters
K&N when you oil these up do you find as ambient increases so does the flow of oil out of your filter and clogs the air intake. I am going back to regular GM air filters these life long filters have to be gingerly oiled or it will foul your emissions

I don’t use any wet air filters on any thing fuel injected. I had one on my Tahoe and the oil gunked up the mass air flow.

Has anyone here ever asked K&N to honor their warranty? I had a piece fall from the air tube where it is eggshell thin. It was on the underside so I was sucking unfiltered air for a good time before it was discovered. They asked for either a photo or the receipt, I sent the receipt and then 2 weeks later I sent a photo because I hadn't heard back. Two weeks after that I asked them if they were planning to honor their warranty and... nothing. I would think a "lifetime warranty" would apply to a fairly recent purchase.... I put in a complaint to Summit where I made the purchase and haven't heard back from them either.
