Default Advice on which head to buy

I’m about to buy a new set of heads for my C5 base and I’m really confused on which set I should get. The car is a weekend toy with street/strip in mind, not a daily driver but will see occasional drives in town. Let me say upfront that I can not afford AFR heads. Here is a list of current mods.
BTR Stage 3 cam
1 7/8 long tubes (no cats)
Vararam
Dual 660 Valve springs
BTR trunnion upgrade
Circle D 3600 stall converter

I am leaning toward this set of PRC heads but would appreciate any feedback. One of my concerns is P to V clearance and what milling if any can I get away with? Any other suggestions within a 1500$ budget is welcomed.

I was just about to recommend a set of ported 243/799 heads to bump up your compression until I saw your cam card. That's definitely a big cam. The people you need to ask are at Brian Tooley. They are going to be able to tell you what will fit and what won't.

But even a set of stock 243 heads would give you a little more flow and a nice bump in compression. I have sold 6 sets of them last year that were all ready to bolt on for around $500 a set. So definitely a good budget option. Also don't forget that Katech is a supporting forum vendor. There site seems to be having some issues right now but they have great prices on port services. Assuming the the PTVC is ok I would go to the junkyard and pull a set of 243's from a running truck or van for $50 to $100 (they started using them in some 05 models but on every 07 and up) and send them in to be ported. Your total investment would be under $1K for the heads. Then you can sell your 241's for around $300 and make some of your money back.

ported 243s will do the trick for you... I ran old style Lingenfelter ported 243s for years with a bit smaller cam and a 3600 stall, 10.9X - 11.00 all day in the 1/4, good springs are a must... similar specs otherwise, plus a 25% UD pully. and ported Fast 92/90...
