Not sure if this is correct place to post. If not please advise. I have a torque wrench I bought in the early 60’s. It’s a deflection type. I am wanting to buy a click type wrench. Can anyone suggest a good quality wrench to buy (brand name, model number) without breaking the bank. Looking for wrench for general use in ft-lbs..
I've been using a $50 unit from HF for a few years, I think the brand is "Tekton" or something like that, range is 15-80 ft-lbs.
In my toolkit there's another one for smaller range (1-20 nm) and one for a larger range (100- ~300 ft lbs).
None are expensive and work fine. One if these days I should find a machine shop and get them recalibrated.
