Same here. Original orange. Blue to me was always for a ford. Don't know what motor was red from factory

Chrysler engines were painted red. If I remember correctly.

Some tractor engines I remember seeing as a kid upstate in NY and PA were red.

Chevy was Orange.

455 Buick, 6 cylinder Fords, Small block Mopars, High altitude ****** engines, original 5.7 and 6.2 Oldsmobile/GM diesels....these are the ones I can think of right now👍

I’ll die on this hill: small‑block Chevy motors should be orange. Not black, not blue, not “modern gray.” Orange. It’s tradition, it pops, and it just looks right when you pop the hood.
