Dyno Run #2
Now on to the Dyno:
I had been to the local slick 1/8 mi. track last wednesday and was impressed with my increase of the 60' times the previous best of 1.89 to 1.75 with my Drag radials and a time of 7.45 vs. a 7.59. I just knew I had traded some low end torque for top end HP
To try and compair Apples to Apples the transmission would not stay in gear (D) below 3500rpm it keep down shifting to (2)
So all my numbers will be from 4000rpm to 6600rpm
Torque changed 421ft-lbs to 401ft-lbs @ 4000rpm
Power changed 381hp to 402hp @ 6300rpm
This is what all the magazines have been reporting for years with the
Duel plane to Single Plane intakes
The big torque number I claimed was below 4000rpm and by the looks of the
graph It is still up there
I have no way to post pictures to put the graphs up if any body wants to helps

The compaison is from the best overall single runs, Torque/power of the same pull
Each pull gave some different numbers we played with timing and jetting and I ended up with 34* total timing and 76/83 jets
