No More Super Rams?
Jegs called and left me a message today... The oval port BB Super Ram that I have had on backorder since december is no longer in production.

Even then, something was up with the superrams. I think the BBC version was not so popular as the SBC version. I'm not sure, but I think all superrams have been discontinued by ACCEL. Have you tried calling them direct? Check their website (under Mr. Gasket.com). I looked in my last Summit/Jeg's and didn't find it. I also remember seeing it under the Holley name for a little while, but didn't find it under their website either.
First, let me say I'm sorry to hear. Second, I'll offer some suggestions:
1.) Check E-bay. I bought my setup there.
2.) Check with Arizona Speed and Marine (http://www.azspeed-marine.com/fuelinjection-3.html ) I know its more expensive, but if you really wanted a tuned port setup, I think these guys are the only other game in town for the BBC. When I called them 6months ago, it had been awhile since they did an oval port setup.
3.) The move seems to be toward fuel injection systems that have more conventional intake manifolds and carb-like throttle bodies. Might save alot of hassle going this route...
