.025 ring gap enough for a 200 shot ?
I have the horsepower bug bad, I do not even have the motor together and I am already planning on a second NOS system :nonod: Any way the plan now is to run a 100 shot out of my Fogger and then hit another 100 in the next gear up (from a plate system). When I put the motor together we file fit the top ring at .025 total. Since the heads are off I comfimned this by sticking a .025 wire down between the ring gap and it barely fit.
I have all the right stuff to run a much bigger shot than this (forged everything, etc) I am ok with .025 total for the ring gap for a 200 shot ?
At least I have toned down the idea of running a total of 250 worth of NOS.

I'm running .023 on both the upper and second ring on my blower motor as per instructions. I assume I haven't had any problems. So far the motor runs great.

I would say that you are OK. I don't remember my old nitrous motors ring gap. I bought a ring gap grinder that I don't use very often. You don't want the gap too big, nor do you want the rings to but up and seize. I feel your .025 is plenty.
