I would say Yes, BUT it depends on how much the motor makes off the bottle. If your making 500hp and you throw a 150 shot at it you will be on the edge as far as strength goes. I am using the 9000 series in my 406 and plan to run a 100 shot next winter. RPM kills, and from what I've been told these can handle 600hp, but not much higher than 6500rpm.

I know that SCAT rates them at about 600hp, but I've heard that they are tough enough to go beyond that. Heck, CHP had a stock SBC handling more nitrous than that before it blew up because of their own mistake. I think you'll be fine with a 150hp shot... that's what I plan to do down the road.

My friend has a nitrous system in His 1982 Camaro with a Lingy 383 motor. Cast crank and pink rods/hyper pistons.It's got a Holley 750 on top so it is a little easier to tune the juice.
The n20 doesn't get sprayed much, but when it is in use He has no problems. 11:1 compression also.

Jay D 90 , how big of shot is he running? Does he spray for the full 1/4? How much power(dyno'd or calc based on times/weight) is he making with and without the spray?
