Default Intake boom

spining them in 1st gear...not looking at the rpm ...and boom.sounded like it was in the engine.......by the way I'm supercharged......85 stock l98....runs fine now.......but it was loud.....no blowby....was I floating the valves? ignition?I've had the blower (8 lbs boost) on for over a year and 3,000 miles but it seems to be running stronger this spring. if I'd holed a piston it would be running rough right? what the hell? :chevy

I suppose that could be possible but I think it's more likely that the cut caused one or more sparks to ground out, which in turn put unburnt fuel into the exhaust manifold. When the cylinder did fire, BOOM.
