Default StealthRam Custom Plenum

I’m very happy with the customer service from Frank (1-954-421-7003) at Fuel Injector Clinic. I bought one of his custom plenums to fit a Holley StealthRam intake in my C4. I initially had some reservations about the number and location of bolts on the plenum lid. Frank added two bolts to the front and rear edges of the plenum at my request for free. This required welding some material to the plenum so it wasn’t just a matter of drilling and tapping a few extra holes. I think (?) he’s made this standard now so he doesn’t get questioned on it anymore – even though he said it wasn’t necessary for a good seal.

It took Frank a little longer to get the plenum to me than originally promised so he called to let me know and polished it for free (looks awesome). He then called to let me know when it shipped and then called a few days later to make sure I received it and was happy. It was very pleasant to deal with someone that knows how to treat the customer well.

It’ll be a while before I install it so I can’t vouch for the performance yet. It sure looks nice polished. I’ll post some pics this weekend

Edit: adding pics

Sweet! You'll have alot of pride when you raise the hood with that bad boy.

Have you thought about polishing the Stealthream, that would look trick.

BTW, Neverdull works well, and is easy to use.

Thanks Monty. It would look nice with the whole intake polished but that's a lot of work. I'm thinking about (1) polishing the fuel rails & injector bungs and painting the rest of the lower intake black or (2) The same except also polish the front side of the runners or (3) Just get it on as soon as I can finish some porting work.

BTW I hope you keep your car. I really enjoyed reading about your buildup and have gained a lot from your experience/posts. You always find the really trick stuff.

I just saw some nice quick release couplers that I'm thinking about using for the fuel line to rail connections. It would be really convenient when pulling the intake for a cam change .... Here's a link to their catalog page.
