I pulled oil pan off Sunday to do a little "post dyno flog" survey to make sure everything was OK. Thankfully, the bearings still looked like I had just installed them and the valves were all still set just right. I adjusted a couple of them ,but it was only the difference between a "tight" feel and a "normal" feel on the same feeler gauge. All looked great.
I cleaned it up and dropped it into the car last night. Then I installed trans, shifter and driveshaft (hey all the new stuff fits...so far!).
It sure looks better in the car than it did on the stand!
542C2- I haven't done any scientific measuring yet. I was tired the other night! But I can tell you the hood does set on it "without" the spacer an dhas more clearance than the old Team G did. Not sure if a spacer is going to make it without choking things up. May still need a little hood work.
But who'd of thought you could get a Super Victor and a Dominator under a stock hood?? ;)
Monty...Thanks for the compliments....now I just gotta save up the $$ and add turbos right?? That would be REALLY fun!!
NOX.....I'm working on it. But this weekend the wife says we're going Harley riding!!

JIM
Jim, knowing your love of hp and mods, how much power does your bike make? I picture you with one of those V8 powered Boss Hoss bikes on nitrous. :lolg:
