Collector Muffler? How can this be done?
Small section of 3" tube to connect collector to Dynomax Bullet, 3" mandrel bent tubing exiting at 45 degree angle at front of door before transmission crossmember with the end cut at an angle horrizontal to the frame rail.
This would make for a elongated oval exit that "I" think would look pretty good, and sound good as well. It would weigh less than the full system, and be a LOT less restrictive.
Ideas/inputs welcome,
Thanks!

For my 68' Camaro I seal brazed on some Stainless steel 3" collector ends I bought from Summit $30 some 10 years ago onto Borla silver bullit muffs.
After the headers, I put on the cutouts, then the muffs and ran 2.5" pipe out to the stock exit on both sides.
It sounds good.......... :D
Here is a pic of the parts
I am going to get the motor installed in the coming weeks, then its time to dig into that project! Hopefully I'll have it to the track by mid august. :yesnod:
