Hooker Side Pipes on 75 502
I have a 1975 with a 502. I want to install Hooker side mount headers and side pipes. I had a 1974 BB and the 75 looks the same to me. Hooker will not verify the fit on this application. Can anyone help or advise?

the 502 external domensions are the same as the Gen IV BB's, BUT
If you have the 502/502, the GM aluminum heads have a unique headbolt heighth. You will have to dremel/grind away a tad bit of the header flange for any headers to fit, to include the OEM exh manifolds
Myself, and quite a few of the guys that run 502's have run into this, and its not a big deal, although it does suck having to dremel away on a new set of headers. I had to do it on my brand new set of cermaic coated hedman headers, but i turned out OK, no big deal
