Default Need to confirm Ring Gap location

I finally got my ring gap set. 34 on top and 24 on second. "I know it may seem big to some of you" But it is in accordance to Childs and Albert's suggestions. infact they said to go even smaller on the second ring and bigger on the top. I sacraficed just a little, and went more by their actual instruction sheet.

Anyways I want to confirm Gap placment location. I know you should keep them away from the thrust side of the piston, so there for looking at the block from a side perspective, would it be best to locate them 180 degrees apart facing left and right?

I put them 90 deg apart. one facing at between 1&2 o clock and the other between 10& 11, 180 deg would be fine too, spacing them over the wrist pin.

I space the oil control rings 180deg apart one facing 6 and one 12 o clock.
