I was just wondering if you guys know of any cheap place to get part #30-111010 (bank to bank w/wide band o2).
I know Fast Times Motorworks in Morton Grove IL is good place. Any other?
Do they going to drop prices since the new version is coming out soon?
TIA
Ziggy
it's a completly programable fuel managment system. allowing you control over timing, Fuel, Fuel ratio, Idle control, Just about anything. They should be right around 2k for a complete set with WB02. Some guys here pointed me to TurboBuicks.com and Turbobuick.com they have some good experts there that could answer any questions you have as well as you may seem some pop up for sale. I picked mine up for 1,400 complete with WB02 and all. though I did have a mess of wiring to figure out. "none of the ends were terminated"
I'll be buying one of these in the next month or so. Have you checked out the Accel/DFI Gen VI? I'm wondering what the difference between FAST and Accel is...they are about the same price.
I looked into both of the systems too. My personal opnion is More pro's are/were using the F.A.S.T. system cause it was here first. it was leaps and bound above the Accel gen 6. Accel gen 7 seems honestly offers the same abilitys that fast system does, and more. You don't have to pay another grand to go from Bank/Bank to Sequential. The Software is much more pleasing to the eye too. The only down side I have heard is that the WB02 for the Accel system has problems handling race fuels. Though that has not been confirmed nor denied. I am now a firm believer in the Haltech system too. They New F12 or something system is leaps and bounds above Fast and Accel. If offers what Fast hopes to offer in their new system. THey have boost control that can respond to wheel slippage so basically it's a traction control. It has a much higher resolution in the Fuel maps, decently priced. "about 1,700 for everything except for WB02- but can supply you WB02 for only 400 instead of the 900 everyone else wants to bend you over for. The only problem with Haltech is no one in the states is really using it. it's more of an Ausi thing, but it is making it's way here in the form of open wheel racing, Boat racing and many imports.
In the end, My thoughts are, All the current systems offer more than enough to get a big grin from ear to ear. So just find the best deal and jump on it.
I don't know if they can beat Jeff's pricing, but you might want to see check Precision Turbo, http://www.precisionte.com , they are one of the largest dealers/distributors of FAST in the country by far and are usually a couple hundred $$ less than what other's charge due to their sales volume.
Hi Monty,
I was thinking that if there was huge difrance betwen Jef and others, I might go that way. But it looks like Jeff has the very comparible prices and you can't beat the service (especially the fact that he's local).
I was waiting for them to develop the new F.A.S.T. system so the current one is cheaper but it's not happening. Any idea when?
Back in March or April I was told it was supposed to be out in the late Summer or Fall, but I haven't heard anything since. Same goes for Meaney's "Big Stuff III".
