Default 6-71 blower ?

I have a 6-71 blower that I got to put on a '69 C-10 pickup. The truck is gone, and I am thinking about this blower. Sadly it was left outdoors for a fwe months by a #$%&@ &#$&&@ tenant. I have taken it apart and cleaned it, but there is some corrosion on one of the rotors and on part of the case wall. There is some pitting where the corrosion was. Is this dead now, or is it still a decent core. It was never used on the street, I cut the hang tabs off myself when I was thinking about using it on my truck. Anyone have any real knowledge or some ideas on where to look for some answers?

Thanks guys!

Bob

GregP is right BDS has a blower rebuild for about $500 or less depending on options. They remachine the case top and bottom, polish the inside of the case and reassemble with new bearings and seal and sometimes a new front cover. They recommend this done every 2 years for blowers that sit alot.
