I am doing an engine that will be around 500 hp 500 tq shifting at 6900 rpm. I have talked with 4 engine builders. 2 say 30 pound and 2 say 36 pound. How do you figure out whick is correct>

Re: injector size ? (zrracer)
30#'s is what I would say an actually maybe a SVO 28# I know 24's work and coule be possibly a "lttle" small.
On my car I bought SVO 30's ,,,, but I wish I had only got 28's since the SVO's flow more
Lots of discussion in the C4 tech section over the past year, to year and half.

Re: injector size ? (ld85)
How close do I have to worry about getting? I always hear that people get injectors that are just 2 big. Is their some sort off math involved? I was hoping that their was some sort of formula that gets you close.

Re: injector size ? (CORKVETTE1)
RC Injectors just E-malied me back Here is their imput.
Hello Robin,
In order to support 500HP, we suggest a 30-35lb injector. We assume you will use a fully programmable ECU.
Thank you for your interest in RC Engineering. Please feel free to call or e-mail us with any further questions you may have.
Thats just what the 2 tuners said.
I am going to go with the 30 ies.
Robin
