Default HELP! HELP!! Can't Breathe!!!

Now that I have your Attention........ :D :yesnod:
Hello Everyone.....I'm a newbe here and I have an "opportunity" that I need help with.
I just purchased a C1 with a 1968 327 rebuild in it. I put the 2X4 set-up & the correct valve covers on, when I noticed that the block does NOT have the opening for the road draft tube. I do NOT want to modify the intake or the valve covers to let this engine breathe.
Hoping that some of the "Innovative" engineers on this forum can help me out, (please not out the door  ).
I am hoping to stay with this engine since it is completely rebuilt and in the car. I do have an early 327 w/ road draft tube that I could freshen up and install, because when you get old you want to do it the simple way :D

Thanks in advance to Everyone,
Bob

Just fill the crankcase with starting fluid and crank the motor. Should have plenty of ventilation then.

I would keep those nice original covers in the closet and buy a set that have vents :)
