Default minimum header curve radius - help!

I have fitted a big block with brodix heads into my modified C4 and I now have a major header clearance problem due , I fear , to an inaccuracy in my original mock up measuring.

For the rearmost cylinder on the passenger side ( no 8 ) I need to turn the header very sharply upwards to get the header pipe to clear a steering component . I should explain I am fitting right hand drive for the Uk so the steering is on the "passenger" side.

For a header pipe coming straight off the flange with 2 1/4 " diameter what is the Minimum curve radius, measured at the tube center line, that I can expect a header shop to be able to bend and weld to a flange?

I have found various formulae on the web but I am not certain what is acheivable in the real world.

thank you

That is all going to depend on the builder. I don't see a problem starting the bend diretly off the flang however it will take a talented guy with a tig stick to get the under side of the pipe if there is limited clearance. as for the radius the minimum radius is usually defined by the pipe diameter not the guy bending it. Have you considered putting a "dimple" in the bend as it comes off the flange? I have down some crazy shoe horn jobs like 460 BBF in 1970 Pinto wagons and BBC in S-10's and in some of those cases we had no other choice but to dimple the header pipe for clearance. :chevy
Good Luck
