The 3896929 "300 HP cam" was used on all Corvette 327 and 350 CID base engines from '67 to '80, and all 350/400 CID engines used in pass. cars and trucks as far as I know.

what about adding 1.6 rockers ??? new cam should be better tham one
with 114 K ???? think i'll tell a diff.
While the 1.6's will probably show a slight improvement, a new (bigger)cam can provide a much greater power increase. More work and more $$ but a lot more banfg for the bucks. As already posted, the stock 300hp cam is pretty wimpy (but it has a smooooth idle and great drivability) and isn't a performance cam.
The 300 HP cam also makes stump pulling off idle torque, and with some head massaging and a decent exhaust system it will make usable power to 5000+ in a 350. Not a performance cam, but great for those who are more concerned will real world torque and driveability rather than peak power at the top of the rev scale where you spend .0001 percent of your driving time.
