Can anyone post a copy of SWC Duke's valve lash adjustment procedure? Or email it to me? Thanks in advance!

Dug out the hard copy of it and I'm posting just the procedure from the paper written by John Hinckley and Duke Williams. Here it is:

"TDC #1 - 8E, 2I
90 DEG. - 4E, 1I
180 DEG. - 3E, 8I
270 DEG. - 6E, 4I
0 - 5E, 3I
90 DEG. - 7E, 6I
180 DEG. - 2E, 5I
270 DEG. - 1E, 7I"

I'm listing the LT1 as an example (that's what I just converted to {from hydraulic) "Start at TDC#1, then rotate 90 degrees at a time, setting at .021"/.026" inlet/exhaust, engine cold, not running and indexed IAW."

Thanks, I plan to do this tomorrow night after work, I assume this method works for all sorts of cams??? Not that this cam is anything too radical, probably in the neighborhood of the LT1 cam, if not tamer...

E-mail me and I will send you a copy of the complete procedure, which includes all the whys and wherefores. The crank indexing/valves to adjust will workfor any cam, but I can only recommend clearances for the OE SB mechanical lifter cams.
