Anyone using a CompCam XE284
I'm currently running a XE262 on my 355, 9.7:1CR, Dart 180heads. I have lots of torque and vacuum. Anyone using the XE284 and would I see any noticable improvements?

Need a lot more info about your gearing, trans, how you drive it, etc.. While the 284 would definitely make more peak hp, if your car isn't geared for it you could wind up with less power where you actually use it. I'm happy with the XE274 in my 327, wide ratio trans, 3.36 rear but I usually recommend the 268 when asked for advice.

I used a XE284 in my last motor in my Elky-Dart 200's, 9.8-1, Team G with 4.11's and a T-56. To be honest with you, a 274 and a smaller head like you're running would have been a be a much better choice. Your motor should run hard.
