383& Hyperthuetic Pistons
Hyper pistons instead of forged.
Kit am going to get has the D-cup hypers to be able to keep my Comp between 10.8 and 11-1 where I want it. Want the flattops and not dished to be able
to set quench between .030 to .035.
Want to set it as close as possible and with the
Hypers closer fit and not worry about hitting the
heads.
Looking at 480-510 HP on Miniram.
Lightwieght valvetrain on Hydraulic Roller. Will try
the Hydra-Rev kit and looking at 6500-6800 on this
setup.
Recommendations or thoughts on this appreciated.

Trying to set Quench area as tight as I can with 11.1
Comp for detonation reasons. Am a firm believer in
running as much compression as you can get by with
with available gas.
Running 60cc heads and have had a problem with
Reciprocating kit makers willing to work with me on
this combo. Want to go the balanced kit way since
live in the sorta Boonies and hours to good machine
shop if encure problems.
Just curious as to Hyper pistons standing up to compression and 6500-6800 rpm. Have always run
forged in all my other motors,BB and SB.
Like to be able to get the deck hieght down to
.025 to .030 if possible and with less piston rock
think I can do it.
6800 rpm max should'nt strech assembly that much
as to hit.
Any thoughts or opinions appreciated.
